As I age and gradually grow wiser, I've come to realize the significance of values. I ask each of my patients “What is it that you value most in you life?” Personally I value family, a few possessions, and changing the lives of our practice members. Over time I've come to realize that most don’t include health as one of their top values. Because without your health, what in life really matters? Just ask someone with a disabling disease “What would you trade to have your health?” Most would exchange every material possession for the restoration of their health. The great tragedy is that we don’t put this kind of value in health until it is too late. Personally I couldn’t imagine not being able to live life to its fullest. I fully intend to walk my daughters down the aisle, play like a kid with my grandchildren, and travel in my later years with my wife Amy. This will be possible because I'm making the investment in my health today. This investment includes eating well, moving well, and thinking well; the exact concepts we teach our patients. Also included is a weekly visit to my chiropractor to correct my subluxations. An ancient Chinese proverb states “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today.” It's never too late to change your life.

Chiropractic care plays a pivitol role in health care. The latest scientific evidence demonstrates that the chiropractic adjustment can influence everything from brain function to high blood pressure. Long term chiropractic patients have shown increased potential for genetic repair. Chiropractic works because correcting subluxation allows the master system of the body, the nervous system, to work without interference. Chiropractic care doesn’t directly treat ear infections, asthma, pain, disability, or organ dysfunction. But those patients often heal under our care because chiropractors remove subluxation. This is why chiropractic works at any age.
