Do you spend hours at your desk, only to find yourself battling back, neck, or shoulder pain? You’re not alone! Many of us sit for long periods while working, and it’s easy to forget the importance of movement and stretching during the day.
That’s why I’ve just released a new video covering four simple activities you can do right at your workstation. These exercises are designed to help you relieve tension, improve posture, and prevent those aches and pains that come with long hours at the computer.
Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll see in the video:
- The Water Trick – Drink more water while at work. Frequent bathroom breaks are reminders to do your exercises.
- Spinal Extension – One of my favorite postural exercises. This directly targets the tissues that can cause neck pain, headaches, and mid back pain.
- Thoracic Lift – When you try to sit up straight, this is how you want to do it.
- Seat Cushion Secret – Ever see a coworker sitting on an exercise ball? This mini version works much better.
Each of these can be done right at your desk—no special equipment needed! Just a few minutes every couple of hours can make a huge difference in how you feel at the end of the day.
